---- Chapter 25 Penelope logged out of her Instagram account and placed the laptop back in its original position. Just as she was about to leave, Jacob called out her name anxiously. His eyes were tightly shut and he looked to have fallen into a nightmare. With her escape plan in mind, she suppressed the hatred in her heart and took his hand. "I'm here," she said gently in an attempt to comfort him. Jacob startled awake from his nightmare with a cry of her name.

He was sweating profusely and, when he saw her sitting by the bedside, his expression twisted in surprise. It took quite a while before he finally spoke up. "That's rare," he commented . "You actually didn't leave." She looked out the window with a tired expression on her face. "I'm already pregnant with your child, so I have no choice but to accept my fate.

I just hope that once I've given birth to the child, you'll stop keeping me locked up and let me return to Belroth." While crying tears of joy, Jacob grasped her fingers and started kissing them fervently. "I promise you ---- that as soon as the three-month danger period has passed , I'll take you back! I'm so happy, Penny! I'm going to be a father! "This is our first child together.

Regardless of the child's gender, I'll raise them into a qualified heir of the Thornton family!" Penelope simply pulled her hand away and got up to leave. She would only bear children for the man she loved, not Jacob Thornton. The first thing she would do upon returning to Belroth was schedule an abortion! The fact that she agreed to keep the child made Jacob elated. Heedless of his injury, he ordered his men to start preparing a crib and maternity supplies.

He even drew a picture of the child's features and showed it to Penelope. "Do you think our baby looks pretty, Penny? The child will have big eyes and double eyelids like you while their facial structure and chin will resemble mine. Ah, they're so cute." Penelope was looking nervously out toward the sea. She was lost in thought , but a passionate kiss from Jacob brought her back to her senses.

I've thought of 100 names for the child, including both male and female names. You can pick one that you like." "We'll see about it," she said, trying to skirt around the topic. Later that night, she took the initiative to warm a glass of milk for him and sang him to sleep.

He was so excited that he hugged her and peppered her with kisses for a long while. In the middle of the night, the sound of a helicopter landing on the island could be heard from outside the window. Penelope perked up in an instant. She leaped off the bed, pushed open the door, and ran out of the villa. She threw herself into the arms of Peter, who was running toward her, and demanded urgently, "Get me out of here quickly! Hurry!" Jacob rushed angrily out of the villa.

"You're so cruel, Penelope Hall! You actually drugged me with the milk! Men, grab her!" The helicopter took off in an instant. ---- She gazed down at Jacob, who had collapsed to the ground with a hand over his wound. "Goodbye!" she thought silently. Once she was back in Belroth, she hurriedly rushed to the hospital for an abortion. Jacob called her over and over again in a frenzy , so she changed her number again.

Just as she was about to enter the operating room, he came striding down the corridor. He knelt on the floor and, through the wall of bodyguards between them, pleaded, "I'm begging you, Penny. Please don't kill our child. I promise that I'll never lock you up again, and I'll no longer get in the way of your marriage to my stepfather! "As long as you're willing to keep the child, I'm willing to promise you anything! Please!" She turned to leave without a backward glance.

"I don't want this child. I'm only willing to bear children. for the man I love, Jacob Thornton, and that man will never be you!" Jacob wailed in despair. He could not accept the situation. "I'll never give up, Penny! I'll definitely find a way to get you back!"
