---- Chapter 10 Just as Bianca finished packing her bags and was preparing to fly to Kyrevia the next morning to find Julian, Douglas stopped her. "If he wants to leave, let him go!" he snapped. "What are you chasing after him for? That cold-hearted bastard really thinks we care about him?" Bianca frowned. "Dad, please don't talk about him like that. He's my husband, so of course I have to bring him back." Douglas knew his daughter well.
Once she set her mind to something, there was no stopping her. It was obvious that she truly cared about Julian. Trying to keep her from bringing him back was not realistic. So instead , he changed tactics. "Bianca, it's not that I'm stopping you from bringing him home. It's just... If you leave now, then what about Nathan? "You're still carrying Nathan's baby. Knowing how selfish Julian is, he would never let you keep that child!" That made Bianca pause.
"What you're saying is..." "I'm saying," Douglas started patiently. "You can still bring him back, just not yet. He's not going anywhere, so you can pick him up whenever. Why not wait until ---- after the baby's born? By that time, he won't be able to do anything about it." He continued , "It wouldn't hurt to let him wait for a bit. I'm a man, too, so I know another man best. The more you pamper aman, the more he thinks he can walk all over you.

Giving him the cold shoulder for a while would bring him to his senses." Hearing Douglas' words, Bianca hesitated. He was making a lot of sense. The surrogacy had been kept secret from Julian. He was not supposed to find out at all. Yet somehow, he had noticed something and caused a scene. It led him to hurt Nathan twice. In the end, he even left behind divorce papers and ran away. If Bianca brought him back now, what would stop him from demanding a DNA test and forcing her to have an abortion?
It was smarter to do it Douglas' way and have Julian stay in Kyrevia. Bianca would give birth to the baby first before bringing him home. By then, it would be far too late for him to do anything. When that time came, all she had to do was tell a little lie-that the baby born was Bethany's best friend's. As for the child she was carrying, she could fake a miscarriage and blame it on Julian's sudden ---- departure. It would make him feel guilty. He would never dare throw a tantrum again.
This was basically killing two birds with one stone. Thus, Bianca stayed behind to rest. Still, she sent someone to Kyrevia to keep an eye on Julian's every move... And to continue her fervent entanglements with her brother-in-law's bare body.
