---- Chapter 23 In the following days, Julian and Whitney tried out all sorts of positions. They made love like crazed people and even experimented with toys. Perhaps it was because she had lived outside Firthcombe since she was a child, but Whitney was quite open about sex. No matter how kinky the play was, she was willing to try it out with Julian. And she was very clingy, too.

During the day, she liked finding ways to stick to Julian, making faces and sticking her tongue out at Bianca provocatively. It was a rather endearing personality, really. Julian revelled in the physical pleasure, just as he wished. But for Bianca, all this was more torturous than being skinned alive. Bianca finally experienced the pain that Julian had felt back then. She finally understood how shameless and absurd her past behavior had been.

She began to reflect on what she had done, and the more she did, the more she felt that she had really been a terrible person. In fact, technically speaking , Julian's sleeping with other women now wouldn't count as cheating at all. ---- Having divorced Bianca, he had every right to be with other women. He never deceived Bianca, nor did he ever betray her. But Bianca had let Julian down when he had loved and trusted her the most.

"Jules, you must have felt more miserable than I am now, right?" Bianca laughed bitterly. "I truly get you now. I'm sorry. I was a piece of shit." Julian said nothing in response, eating his food in silence. But Bianca wished that he wasn't so silent. She hoped that Julian would slap her a couple of times across her face in anger so that she would feel even a little better. "Jules, I'll compensate you, okay?" Bianca said, taking out a thick stack of documents from her briefcase.

''These are the deeds for all the properties under my name. I've decided to transfer all of these properties to you." When he heard this, Julian's hand paused slightly , just as he was raising a spoonful of soup to his lips, finally sparing Bianca a glance. "Transfer them all to me? What? You don't want to support Nathan anymore?" Julian asked with a sneer.

When Nathan had been injured at the hospital, Bianca had told him that she would give him all of the ---- Prescott family's assets and then move out of the Prescott family home to live with Julian. And now, she was saying that she would give all her property to Julian. "Jules, stop making fun of me." Bianca smiled bitterly. "I've realized my mistake now. A married couple should act together as a single unit. I should have made all my decisions with you." She let out a heavy breath.

"Bethany saved my life. But even so, I shouldn't have handed over our property to Nathan without any consideration for you. What's more, Bethany left behind some assets of her own, and my parents have lots of assets as well. "T think my parents will leave all of it to Nathan. He'll get on just fine in the future even without my help." Bianca continued her plea. "You're my husband. All my property should be handed over to you.

That's what a true couple would've done." Those were some very touching words. It was just a pity that Bianca had come to her senses too late. By now, Julian had completely given up on her. No matter how sincere her attempts at penance, and no matter how solemn her promises, he could no longer forgive her.
