---- 7. The Part Where We Dance "Do these fit you?" Cameron asks, holding up a pair of navy blue PJs. "Uhh, I think so. Anything would be fine, honestly." The blonde nods her head and disappears onto her bedroom. It was a little after one a.m, I think. We just finished cleaning up the mess we made from cooking and eating. Ellie Goulding's album had looped for more than five times ever since it started playing.
"Here," she says, laying out the clothes on the couch where I had plan on to sleep, "I also put a pair of underwear there, you don't have to worry since it's new." "Thank you." I smiled at her and she smiled back." Since we're friends now, I should offer you my place, if you ever need a bed to crash on just think of me." Cammie laughed , "And if you ever get locked out of your apartment, I'll be there to boost you up your fire escape." "That's a deal, spit-shake on it?" I paused, ready to spit, "I'm kidding." Cammie chuckled and grabbed my hand for a shake.
"T'll go on and take a shower. You go in after me, all ---- right?" I nodded, settling on the couch. When I heard the shower running, and as pictures of naked Cameron under the shower invaded my mind, I got hold of the remote and turned on the television . Iscanned through every channel and found nothing interesting to watch. I planned on calling the two lovebirds again, but fought on it. Instead, I took hold of my phone and stared at Pam's picture again.

"No other love can warm my heart..." I started singing out of the blue. My head instantly played the tune of the piano as I continued to whisper the lyrics. Damn it. This time really gets the memory juice going, damn my brain, what a dick move. I was still staring , my attention focused only to the picture on my phone. "Seriously, who is that?" Cameron suddenly asks. "Christ!" I blurt out, jumping from my seat. She was leaning on the couch, her head near mine.
Her blonde hair was soaked from the shower, and what was worse was she was only wearing a towel. "You startled me!" "Sorry." she says, chuckling. My hand made its way to my chest. She made her way beside me, sitting on the couch, comfortable like her towel wasn't the only thing keeping her from nudity. "You kept staring at that picture. Plus, you're humming a song I'm sure ---- I've heard my mother sing once or twice." I was in total silence.
Not only from her state of almost -nudity , but also from her question itself. 'S-she's nobody-" "Don't you dare tell me she's nobody special , come on, we're friends, spit it out." Cameron began to cross her legs, determined to get some answers.
I heave a heavy breath out, "I'll tell you all about it, but can you first , you know," I bobbed my head left and right, eyeing her, obviously pointing out how awkward I felt with how she wore the towel, "can you go get dressed?" "Oh," Cameron says, laughing, "sure, yeah. But you promise you'll tell me, right?" I gave her a nod, anything that would get her dressed would be fine. I know it was a little backwards for me to say, because you know, I like her, but I was just a bit uncomfortable.
She went on to her room and closed the door. I buried my head on my hands, letting out big sigh. A few seconds later, I call out to Cammie, "Hey, I'll hop on in the shower first, alright?" As soon as I hear her agree, I went to the bathroom. I got out of the bathroom fresh as a daisy, Cameron was waiting for me on the couch. "Hey, you're done!
