---- dance with the song, alright? Not Pam." I gave her an obedient salute before I went in the bathroom, " That's what friends are for!" It bothered me a little too much that Cameron repeated 'friend' so many times. From last night, up until now, she had said it like she was repelling me from her. It was as if she knew I was attracted to her from the start, and she was making a statement without actually saying it. Stop over thinking, Tiff would say.

Tiff was my conscience and I have got to say she was right. I need to stop over thinking . Things were going well with Cammie. I liked her company, she liked mine, what was there to want? Although I knew the answer to that question, I dare not answer it. "So, are you sure you don't want to stop by the coffee house for a bit?" Cammie says, tucking her blouse in. She was wearing the uniform again.

"Nah, I think I should go home and crash until noon." The blonde clicked her tongue, "I am so jealous." We walked downstairs laughing, I started to tell a joke about a hedgehog and Cameron just ate it up. I hailed acab for her to get on, "I'll call you." She says with a smile. ---- "you have my number." I say, then proceeded to thank her for last night. She returned the gratitude , reached in for a hug, and finally rode off. She waved at me all the way until the cab disappeared.

Iheaved out a breath. My heart was pumping a little from excitement. I felt so good and so alive, something I haven't felt for quite some time. I rode silently home. At times I smiled to myself as I remembered something from last night, sometimes I even chuckled. When I snapped out of it, I caught the driver staring at me from his rearview mirror, but I didn't really care. Home suddenly felt a little lighter.

All though in the far back of my mind I knew home would feel a thousand times better if Cammie was there, which I know was impossible , but let me dream my dreams. I walked past the living room, seeing Peter and Tiff's keys and purse hung up the wall. It's great that I wasn't here last night, or I would've sulked in my PJs, with a bottle of whiskey until I get drunk again. "Hey, so you're home." Tiff and Peter were sitting in the dining room, having breakfast.

My smile must've been big since both of them mimicked it, "Yeah, I am." "So, how was your night with Cammie?" Tiff asked. ---- I scoffed , "I cannot even begin to describe it. But it was so much fun. A kind of fun I haven't had in a long time." "yeah?" Peter says, chuckling, "It does seem so, your smile says it all." I gave hima nod, "And is Cammie, you know?"
