---- always go through every time I get sick, and I always feel better the next day." I was a little scared for myself as I saw the enthusiasm and seriousness in Cammie's eyes. "Seriously, you're not sick the next day?" She nods at my question, "One-hundred percent guarantee. You're lucky I'm here with you. I promise you'll be shipshape by tomorrow." I grunted, sensing her checklist to be quite a lot of work. "Can't I just sleep now?" "N-no!

Sleep is number five on my checklist." There was an eagerness in her voice that made me smile. "Alright, since you seem to be sure, and quite eager... and kinda seeing that I have no choice - let's do it.""I grabbed another tissue and blew my nose. "Okay, so basically the first and second thing you have to do is drink and eat. Simple, right?" I answered her with a 'yes' and we made our way to the kitchen.

It took her time to find her way around the tools and ingredients, but when she did, she told me everything was alright. After a few minutes, she laid a cup of hot yellowy water in front of me. A brown funny figure was in the bottom of it. "I'm supposed to drink this?" Cammie nodded, I catch her making a batch of macaroni soup. "It's ginger, great for the throat." ---- Without a word, and fully trust with this woman, I slowly drank the ginger -drink.

I sat still for a long time in my seat as Cameron cooked. "Do you cook regularly?" I ask her, then I blew my nose. I'd normally be embarrassed about how snotty I was around a woman I like, but Cammie was different. "Oh yeah," she turns to me with a smile, "I haven't mentioned this before, but uhm, I actually took culinary arts in college." My eyes popped in surprise , "Wow, then you must hella good at cooking then.

How come you've never mentioned it before?" She started stirring the macaroni she was boiling. "I don't know. I guess I don't cook for anyone but myself. "IT smiled to myself, realizing that I must be the first person whom she cooked for. "How about your exes?

Surely you've cooked for them?" Cameron shrugged as I took another sip off my cup." Nothing romantic, I guess, just fried food, so it doesn't really count." "Have you made them your special macaroni soup before?" She bites her lip then turns to me, "No. None of them actually lasted that long for me to cook them soup." ---- "Lasted long? Why couldn't they last long?" I sipped the ginger water again, the hotness soothed my throat. "Like I said, I've never really fallen in love.

Quite honestly I don't talk about myself with my past lovers, I guess they couldn't take how much I fended them off from getting to know me." I fell silent , kind of agreeing with her past lovers. It did seemed like Cameron didn't like to talk about her parents, or any other thing, without learning something in return. 'Tit for tat', she would say. "Has anything changed? I mean you seem like you're getting the hang of it by now." She took a seat across me and she smiled. "Well, it's you. It's easy, I guess."
