---- The two of us walked out my apartment and onto the street. We decided we shouldn't ride on all the way to the restaurant, even if we were hungry. "Ugh, the sun feels so good today." She says. The weather was vibrant. It wasn't too sunny, but it also wasn't too cloudy either. "If you were alone this Sunday, what would you be doing instead?" Cammie laughed, finding my question a little funny, " I probably would still be in bed until dance class.
My life isn't too eventful, to be honest." "Hey, I think dancing is very cool, and being you generally tops off all the coolness I've known." She nods and chuckles, "Right, because you hang out with losers, don't you?" I tell her yes and she retorts with, "Well I hang out with you now, does that make mea loser?" "Nah," I shake my head, "it just means I'ma lot cooler than I was before." "Oh, you are too cute. Has anyone ever told you how charming you are?" She put her hands in her pockets.

"Nope." I answer simply. "Yeah, I had the feeling you were fixed with the idea that you're some kind of wallflower ." Wow, she hit that thought right in the bullseye. "But you're not.
In fact, you are very charming, and very funny." She ---- looks at me when she says this, "And when you fix that drinking problem of yours I'm sure you'd be ten times better." "Ha ha, Cammie." I say, she was laughing her ass off now, "You know you're not so bad yourself." "Come on, Gail, I'ma little bad." I shake my head no, "Come on, you're very confident about yourself, your body, and how you look. You know how to take a joke, and you know how to laugh at them.
You take care of yourself because I think it's sort of a later of yours." "Layer?" She asks, crossing her arms. "Yeah, sort of like a defense mechanism or something. " Cameron laughs at this, "What? It's just what I think.
You are confident, and you are comfortable with yourself, but you somehow use it to fend off getting hurt." "Alright, Gail, enough psychology now." I could sense she felt a little uncomfortable from what I just said, " No more assessments before breakfast." She says, smiling to lighten the mood. "Sorry." I say simply. We continued to walk silently until we arrived and were seated inside the restaurant. "God, doesn't this look delicious?" She points to a picture of a chocolate covered waffle.
---- Cameron was back to her mood and I didn't want to spoil it. "Hey, I thought you wanted maple syrup. That's chocolate." The blonde brooded over this little fact, "Ugh, I know, but I want both chocolate covered and maple syrup glazed. But the dilemma is, I can't eat both since I'll be full by the time I finish one." Talk about first world problems. "How about we order both maple syrup and chocolate covered, and you eat half of both, and I'll eat the other half of both. That way, we won't waste any waffles ." Cammie grins at me, "How resourceful of you."
