---- looked at me from tip-to-toe, a little surprised by my get up, "What are you doing here?" [had little time to spare and I just told her that I had no time to explain. My hand fished out my flash drive and I handed it to her. She operated the publishing and I had no time to argue.
"I need this printed out, dimensions are twenty by twenty inches, and -"I1 looked at my watch, "I'll come back to claim it in about fifteen minutes." Before Alex could even argue, I was out the door, ready to step on it again towards Cammie's apartment . I called her cell and informed her that I would be down her doorstep in a few minutes , and that she should wait out front. And when the few minutes passed, I was at her apartment, and she was waiting out front.
Despite the clock ticking and my immeasurable fear of failing Tiff, I was still captivated by Cameron's sight. I stepped out the car to face Cammie, she had a darker color of cream dress, it was tight and long, which helped to magnify her body and her height. She had little make-up on and I wasn't about to argue. Even without it, I knew she would be stunning than half the girls at the wedding. "H-hi." Cameron says with a slight blush, I must have looked at her for a couple of seconds.
I manage to chuckle and breath out, "Hey. Uhm, I'm ---- sorry if I was staring, you just look absolutely stunning." Cameron blushes and looks down, "I could say the same to you. Look at you, all dressed up. You're not too shabby, Gail Brennan." She smiles and I smile back, "You ready? I have an errand to run for the bride." We snap back to reality and she fully understood the situation. Acouple of minutes later, we were back on track towards the wedding.

"Uhm," Cameron says, she was fiddling with her purse, her eyes not meeting mine, " so, did you uhh, did you listen to the mix I gave you?" Inearly froze, I couldn't tell her that I knew... it would kinda ruin the surprise. "Actually, I haven't had the chance to." "Oh," from that single word, I could paint the disappointment in Cammie's voice, "okay." "B-but, I do plan on listening to it. Don't worry. My laptop's CD driver just doesn't work..." I say, biting my tongue with that stupid lie.
The last thing I wanted Cameron to feel is her un-importance , that seriously is not the issue here. "It's alright. It's not that big of a deal." Oh, but it is. I thought. I wanted to tell her right then and there how I felt for her, that it was the same, and it was so strong. But, I had other things to worry about... like ---- the damn welcome sign I need to get printed. "Uhm, anyway, I need to stop by here." I say, slowing down the corolla, ''This is where I work.
There was a welcome sign' emergency earlier and I needed to get another one printed." I catch Cameron nod, "I'll just get the sign from Alex and we can go." From the mention of Alex's name, Cameron began to spazz. "Woah, woah, Alex? Alex is in there?" I started to stammer but I then manage to nod, "I wanna come. "Uhm... okay. If you want to, I guess you can, it's just a sign." Oh no, I thought. Cammie might tell Alex off. Or Alex might say something stupid.
Thankfully , when we got in, Alex wasn't in sight. The sign, however, was ready by the desk. I nodded over to it and Cammie followed me. She helped me carty it, and when we were nearly by the exit, Alex catches our attention. "Hey! Aren't you going to pay for that?" I turned to her. Well, of course I didn't bring my wallet. "Just tell David to cut it off my paycheck." Alex neared the two of us, her eyes were all over Cameron, and Cameron wasn't exactly backing down from the staring contest.
I had to sigh internally. "Is she your date to this thing?" Alex asks, turning tome and pointing at Cammie. "Yes, she is my date." I say simply, ready to get out ---- before she could say any other thing. "Pfft," Alex scoffs , turning her back to us, "you can doa lot better." Isee Cameron stiffen, she was about to reply but I wanted to control the situation . "No I can't," I say, Alex turns to us again, she was a bitter little bitch." You know why?
Because Cameron is the best." I paused as I see my words sink into Alex through the expression on her face. "Now, please be a good intern and tell David to cut this off my paycheck, 'mmkay?" Later on when we sat back inside the corolla, silence loomed for a few minutes as we drove to The Plaza." Do you mean it? Am I really the best?" I give her a look and a smile, "Of course I did.
I'm sure if Alex knew you she'd say the same thing." From my peripheral vision, I catch Cammie smile at what I say. "I can't believe you haven't listened to the mix. It is really good." I know, I thought as she says this. The hour came when Tiffany and Peter's wedding started. All rose and the band started the music, I walked down the aisle with Simon on my right hand side. It was slow and we got to talking, 'So, I saw you with Cammie earlier. Is she your date?"
