---- Chapter 11: I'm Sorry Alice's POV The rest of that day had gone plainly. Or that's what I thought. The clock almost screamed that my office hours for the day were already finished and I could go home to cook dinner for my brother. I promised him to cook Chicken Adobo with pineapple bits. A Filipino dish we both came to love when one of his Asian friends visit our home and let us tasted heaven. It was different from our usual food and we loved the flavor.
It's been months since we craved for it but didn't had the actual time to cook it because of some work stuff the both of us had. I gathered my things and went down the lobby. The company building was almost empty. The hallways were quieter than usual. It weirded me out. And speaking of weird, I haven't seen Seth since we had that awkward moment at the conference room. He had been working all day.

I mean, I've been inside his office on the whole day with him but we hadn't spoke more than necessary aside from what was written on the job description. I've felt... sad? Weird? ---- H-Hurt? I sighed as I stepped out of the building. Putting my coat over my shoulders, I heard a loud screech of tires and roaring of engines. A black matte car was parked just some steps away from me and I saw Seth almost half running to get inside the car with a phone on his hands. He looked tensed.

The car sped away like in a race. He didn't even notice standing right beside here. I laughed at myself looking up at the sky. Tears threatening to fall. Why does my heart feel so heavy? Acab finally stopped in front of me and drove me home. The house was awfully quiet.
I tried my best to divert myself from thinking things that would let myself feeling down more. I started washing and slicing the ingredients I needed for my dish tonight when my phone began ringing violently on the kitchen counter. "Hello?", I said answering the unregistered number. The person on the other line was almost panting . 1 could hear heavy breaths being released. ---- "Alice..." I froze when I heard his voice from the other line. Seth. "Alice?" "y-Yes", I gripped my phone tighter.
"Are you at home?", his tone was soft. "Yes", but mine was softer. "T'm coming. Stay there please" "What? Why? My brother will be here in any minute. I don't want some drama. What happened on the conference room is enough for today", I was afraid that he and Dean would see each other again. I was a hundred percent sure that Dean would not welcome him nicely . He knew everything . They were almost brothers before everything happened. Before he left.
1 was not just the only one who was hurt when he left. Dean did, too. "I'm coming", there was a slight edge and desperation on his words. "§-Seth", seriously , I really wanted to find out what was happening especially when I saw him while leaving the building earlier. There was definitely something wrong. But the thing with my brother and him would be too much. Dean would definitely do
