No one aside from the woman on the white bed, laying there with her hands on her sides tied and her feet tied, too. Eyes blind folded, the blind fold was wet from her tears. She was ---- crying. Cloth was tied on the mouth. There was this spotlight focused on her. It was like watching a dramatic theatre play.

My feet, from slow motion, kissed the dusty floor with firm force and speed. A hand stopped me. "May be it's a trap" But I disregarded Maxx's warning. I went to her side. Hands were shaking. "A-Alice", my voice shook too. She was crying. I gently untied her mouth and her loud cries were revealed. "Shhhhhnh....", [said repeatedly as one by one, I tried to set her free. Her eyes winced at the light directed to it when I put away the blind fold. She lay still when I was done.

"'§-Sev", her voice was hoarse, cracked and shaking. I held her hand as soft as I could. There were red marks, signs of how tight and suffocating the rope on her skin. I kissed them. "I'm sorry", I whispered. She then tenderly looked at me in the eye. "T'm sorry", I didn't even know what was I sorry about. Maybe for a lot of things. May be because I was too late. She was already hurt. She reached for my cheek and rubbed it with her ---- thumb. She was weak. "Sev", I stiffened.

Heart pounding loudly. Did.. Did I hear her right? "Sev", with unblinking eyes, I watch her watch my stunned expression. Did she just call me by my name? Not Seth? Not my brother's name? How? When? Every question rushed through me but she just smiled a bit. "Sev", Alice pronounced it like she was making sure I was there. Right in front of her.
