Without saying anything, he closed the gap between us and hugged me like his life was dependent on it. My body still of shock. I couldn't understand why I couldn't lift my arms to embrace him the same. I was not sure of what to do. "T'm sorry", he whispered and pulled me closer to him. His arms completely enveloped me. What are your sorry for?" ---- He released me from him but encaged my face with his big cold hands making me look at him in his eyes. His were shaking with uncertainty and many different emotions. I couldn't name them all but all of them were not good. "Why is there blood on you?", I sobbed. "It's not mine" He kissed my forehead.

"Why are you here? Did something bad happen?" "I'm sorry, Alice?", his voice was cracking and shaking making me feel beyond nervous and terrified of what he was going to say. "Why are you apologising since you came here? Just tell me what happened!" He closed his eyes tightly and seemed struggling to let the words out. When he opened them again, they became hard to read. "It's... "What?", I tried to make me sound firm. Seconds ran out.

"Dean was shot", what he revealed took my strength all of a sudden. My knees shook and I grabbed his arms for support. I could feel myself running out of ---- air in my lungs. My eyes became waterworks. "No nono nononononono", I shook my head violently not wanting to believe on him. How could that happen? "You're lying!!! What happened?!", I faced him again even my sight got blurry. I could feel it. My heart and my insides were being squeezed painfully.

"T'm sorry" "I'm asking you what happened! What did you do?!" I gritted my teeth, and I pushed him hard and kept punching him but he was just letting me. "T'm sorry", it hit a nerve. "Fucking stop saying you're sorry. I want to know what happened?!", he remained silent. I sobbed hard. I couldn't even breathe properly from all the crying but then I knew I had to see my brother. "Where is he?", I pleaded.

"Tn the hospital" With that, I ran out of my house, him shouting my name and running after me. Please, God, not my brother. Please. I internally cried out.
