Ashly's hand curled around her own on his chest. Alex's lips quirk into a smile as he thinks back on the events leading up to this, stunned at how even the bad memories are dulled, feeling satiated and elated, grateful , and in awe of Ashly , who always surprises him in new and wonderful ways.

"Alex, will you move in or not?" She looks at him challengingly, observing as his laughter subsides, his brain catching up with her question, his eyes brimming with laughter and tears but wide in surprise. "Do you mean... you want me to?" Ashly rolls her eyes, moving up more to look straight into Alex, brushing sweaty hair from his forehead." I'm taking it back." Her mouth is clasped shut by Alex's hand.

"Yes, dear Ashly, please let me move in with you, and you can punish me every day for the rest of our lives." Alex smiles sweetly, watching Ashly's amused expression, an adorable pout revealed as he takes his hand away to wrap it around Ashly's neck. "Please, Ashly, please take me in." Ashly sighs dramatically, thinking how in the world she got herself a man who can be more of a drama queen than herself, nevertheless knowing wholeheartedly she'd never want anyone else. "Please, Ashly." Alex's voice changed, becoming calm and quiet, layered with a genuine plea that gained Ashly's full attention. She cups Alex's cheek to make him look at her, her thumb tenderly stroking his skin.

He's brimming with joy and relaxes completely , easing Ashly mind, as well, as he closes the gap between their lips. "T'll get it done right away." Alex brushes his nose against Ashly lovingly before Ashly pulls back. "There's something more pressing we have to do first. " Alex looks pu zzled, and Ashly feels gracious, closing in and speaking quietly into his ear. "Undress properly, shower, and finish what we started." She leans back, smirking at a happy Alex, exclaiming loudly as she's grabbed and thrown backwards , but doesn't mind being showered with some more of Alex's love and joy, first marveling at these feelings.
