---- Iwill fight Ashly fell asleep again on the way home. Alex was starting to reconsider whether to try to convince his friend to see a doctor. Ashly looks really pale and unwell. Alex shook his head. His friend was not going to see the doctor. Ashly practically hates doctors. If only Alex could call Moni, she would be the best choice for his mate. She knows very well how to take over from Ashly. And she is the only doctor to whom Ashly will listen.

But of course he can't call her, not after all those sh* ts she did to him and Ashly. Sometimes Alex really wonders why Moni did all those things, but again, it doesn't matter how many times they ask; she will never tell them the truth. Alex shook his head again to get rid of those stupid thoughts and looked towards his beautiful mate, who looked really pale and weak. Maybe he would call his stupid cousin and ask for his opinion. It wasn't that he didn't trust Alvin, but...Alex is worried.

What if Ashlu thought he was perfectly fine and they missed something bad? Alex would never forgive himself if anything happened to his ---- mate. When Alex carried Ashly into the house, he expected Adom to come running to greet them with a cute smile, but when he saw his mother sleeping, his eyes became wide. Alex shushed him gently and whispered, "Your beautiful mom is tired, baby. I'm going to put her to bed, and then I'll come have breakfast with you, okay?" Adom nodded solemnly and scooted out of Alex's way so that he could carry Ashly upstairs. Ashly's stepfather hovered off to the side, looking thunderous, but didn't try to stop him.

Ashly grumbled when Alex set her down but didn't wake, so Alex removed his friend's jacket and shoes and tucked her into bed. He had to pause and watch Ashly's sleeping face for a moment, brush hair out of her eyes, and drop a kiss on her forehead. His mate is really beautiful, just like their son said.

Alex is extremely pleased by Adom's habit of calling Ashly beautiful to annoy her. His family is really beautiful, and he will never let anyone come in between them, not his father or Ashly's stepfather. He already told this to his father, and now it's Man's time to know the truth and his place. Alex really took his time to shower, to dress in casual clothes for a day at home, and to fix his hair before he went back downstairs.

Adom was waiting for him at the bottom, and he threw himself against Alex's legs at once. Alex made an exaggerated oof sound and then bent down to swing Adom up into his arms.
