Her hair fans prettily around her face, and Sam leans down to kiss the corner of her lips. "Your brother is home today, you know?" Monika reminds him; her voice is barely above a whisper.
The words are spoken like a secret into the small space between their lips: "And your wall is really thin." "Monika ," Sam snorts fondly, ''you are very mean." Monika giggles again. She pulls Sam down and gives her another long, hard kiss.
"You're the one who went and got excited all by yourself." "Your enthusiasm says otherwise." "You were the one who attacked me first." "You were the one who suggested it." Monika is silent for a while, a sign that she has nothing witty to refute, so she just sighs, "You're lucky. I like you so much." He really is. Sam bites his lips and collapses onto Monika's chest, nosing along the column of Monika's neck.

One of Monika's arms moves down from around his ---- shoulder to rest around his back, and her hand rubs soothing circles into Sam's hips while the other plays with short hair at the back of Sam's neck. It takes him a while to realize, but Monika smells like him. Sam looks up, his mouth going dry. "You smell like me," he says. Monika's eyes waver, flickering briefly to the side. She's also blushing.
"I took a shower when I got here." "You're ridiculous ," he accuses fondly, and he gets a tug on the roots of his hair. "You're the ridiculous one." Sam just hums happily and gives Monika a kiss. "Do you want to do me the honor of being ridiculous together and take another shower with me?" "Your brother is home." Monika reminds him once again, and Sam groans, falling back onto Monika's chest. Monika laughs and continues, "You should shower and change, though." Sam looks up.
"We're going out?" "T thought we could go camping." "Camping? Now?" Sam turns to look at the clock and says, "I don't think we'll be able to set up the tent in time." "Technically, the tent is already set up,"" Monika ---- supplies, and Sam blinks.
Then realization sinks in, and he asks, "You already have everything planned, didn't you?" "You don't want to?" "No, it just kind of takes away the purpose of camping if we don't set up our own tent and bonfire." "Okay, maybe camping isn't the right word..." That catches Sam's attention, and he looks up to squint at his girlfriend. Monika worries about her bottom lips between her teeth for a moment, and Sam has to kiss her again to stop her from tearing the skin off.
"I may or may not have booked us a family camp at Camp of Our Town for the weekend." Town Camp is always full. There's usually a four- month waiting period. How the hell did Monika manage to book them a spot for the weekend on such short notice? "Monika..." Sam mumbles feelingly, "You didn't have to do all of that, you know?" "T know," Monika agrees easily , cupping his cheeks tenderly , "but you've been so tired and stressed out with school and with our upcoming college entrance exam... I want you to just relax and have fun." He loves Monika so much, it's ridiculous.
