---- Ashly's hands trying to touch all of him in return, their moans and sharp breaths echoing all around them. Alex's mouth is gone abruptly, leaving Ashly spinning, his voice in her ear, and his breath sending shudders all over her.
"I promise I'll sing to you again, as often as you like." Ashly brimming with delighted energy , her mouth claimed again by Alex reborn passion, thrilled by the anticipation of their future together , but determined to never miss out on the present, cherishing every moment past, good and bad, because it led them to this moment right here, where they are the happiest, with each other, where they belong.
Naked and sated, they moved to lie on a blanket on the carpet, Alex hugging Ashly, pressing against her back, his fingers finding every mark his hands and mouth left on Ashly's body, featherlight and adoring. He inhales her scent deeply, jealous at the knowledge that this is all just for him and for them. He lets himself exist unheeded in the bliss of the moment , wondrously mindless.
Ashly's body shifts startles and jerks her awake, but he doesn't mind, instead tightening his arms around her and finding the back of Ashly's neck to kiss. ---- He hears Ashly sigh and feels it under his own skin, astounded once more at all the ways they seem to be bonded and wholesome. He doesn't know why that memory appears in that instant, but it's still as meaningful to him, maybe even more than before.

Stretching his neck for his lips to reach Ashly's ear, he kisses the lobe before whispering. ''Do you remember saying you'd give yourself to me?" He waits, but there's no answer, though he's certain Ashly isn't asleep. He cups her chin and turns her head gently to look at her, immediately amused at the puzzled frown on Ashly's face. "T guess you really don't remember , not even now." Alex sighs as if he were wounded , quickly shushing Ashly with a finger over her lips to make her listen.
"There were children; one was crying, sitting on stone steps, when the other found him, made him talk, and saved him that day. She told the crying boy that she would give herself to him because his parents left him. " Alex recounts, watching Ashly's face closely, turning around, and watching Alex intently.
He can tell Ashly is thinking hard, a little disappointed that their first meeting was so impressionless to her, but minds are like that sometimes, and Alex has always known that their ---- encounter meant far more to him. "Wait, I was with my father that day, and that boy..." Her eyes grow wide suddenly. "That was you?" Ashly is so startled that she sits up, staring at Alex in disbelief.
Alex smirks lightly, propping himself up with a hand on Ashly's knee and stroking calmly to let her know it's alright. "Yeah, that was me. You told me your name and your school, too. It's why I transferred there, but you didn't seem to remember me." Ashly still looks utterly taken aback. "Shit! Really? I had no idea. That was you? Howis that possible?" Alex laughs quietly, sitting up, leaning towards her, cradling her cheek.
"It's fine, Ashly; I just had to think about it." Alex lays a hand over Ashly on her face, watching her closely. "That's why... all of this... wow. I honestly didn't know." "Tt doesn't matter ; it's all good now, and I've never regretted it and never will." Alex looks assuredly, smiling kindly, and Ashly sighs, dropping her head on Alex's shoulder and slipping her arms around her middle. "How could I have forgotten you, though?
How different might everything have been?" Alex caresses Ashly's temple and hair, her head ---- comfortably against Alex. "I still wouldn't change it. What if we had never found a way to each other? I wouldn't risk it for anything." "You're right, I suppose. Anything could have happened or changed." Ashly moves again, wrapping her arms around Alex's neck and facing him. "T didn't lie, though.
I did give myself to you." She smiles haughtily, her eyes twinkling, eliciting a warm shower raining across Alex's body and an elated smile as he holds her closer. "You did, and I will always be grateful, because I think I belonged to you from that moment on, as crazy as that sounds." He's never been anything but crazy and extreme about Ashly; maybe it's just something inside him, something gone wrong, though nothing that led him to Ashly could ever truly be wrong in his eyes.
"We have our own kind of crazy." Ashly grins, happy and carefree , releasing the last sliver of doubt from Alex's heart. He nods, pressing his lips against Ashly's chin, his fingers tracing the knobs of his spine, never letting go of her gaze. Ashly kisses his nose, brow, and cheek in turn, her hands sliding lavishly along Alex's upper body. When she completely stills her movements , though,
