---- "May I point out that I'm not queen yet, and I don't think that I have the right to make that kind of change." My lips parted, the words on the tip of my tongue, but I changed my mind and smiled at her instead. Pressing a kiss to her forehead , I gripped her hand and guided it to the crook of my arm as I started leading the way to the throne room. Everybody was probably waiting for us already. I knew that Lucas was eager to give Angel our last name.

I glanced down at her as we walked and tried but failed to hide my smile. Angel was thinking about what I said, I could almost see the gears turning in her head. Our people were going to love her. She was going to be much better than Arabella. Pausing in front of the door, I looked down at her. " Are you ready?" Angel sucked in a deep breath and slowly blew it out. " Let's do this." lopened the door, my smile widening as I took it all in.

Lucas had gone all out even if it was supposed to be just a small ceremony. ---- The red carpet had been laid out with rose petals on either side of it. Lucas had even moved the chairs to the side so there was space for the wedding officiant and them at the very front of the room. A table with various plates of food was placed to the side, also decorated with flowers and sparkly material. The wedding officiant was already there with Lucas by his side, dressed in his formal wear.

Next to him stood Nate, also dressed to perfection. Debora stood to their left, looking slightly uncomfortable. I placed my hand on Angel's and squeezed as we moved towards them. Lucas turned and I watched the emotion play over his face as he stared at her. It hit me then how different his relationship was with Arabella. He never looked at her the way he was looking at Angel. Their relationship had been nothing but a formal transaction.

I had thought that when Lucas and Arabella announced her pregnancy their feelings had grown for each other, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Thinking about pregnancy...an image of Angel swollen with our child flashed through my mind. I couldn't wait for that day to come. Reaching Lucas, I took Angel's hand and placed it in ---- his before I moved to the side to stand next to Debora. Lucas pressed a kiss to her knuckles and together they turned to face the wedding officiant.

"Tt is an honor to be here today to join King Lucas and future Queen Angel in royal matrimony." I tuned him out as he continued talking. My mind slipped back into the little fantasy I had created when Angel was pregnant with our babies. We were going to spoil her a lot and our kids. Will they look more like her? There was a big possibility that they would be shifters like us, but I wouldn't mind if they were human like their mother. They would be loved either way.

"T now pronounce you husband and wife," the officiant said, snapping me back to reality. "You may kiss your wife." Wrapping an arm around her waist, Lucas dipped her before he claimed her mouth. She giggled but it died down as the kiss deepened. Nate cleared his throat , making my eyes snap up to his. Our eyes locked and held for a few seconds. We were both thinking the same, but we didn't voice it. I smirked. "Now that business has been taken care of, can we eat?" I asked.

"I'm starving." Breaking the kiss, Lucas gave me a playful dare, but ---- he wrapped an arm around her waist and led her over to the table. I should have known our mother wouldn't allow us a day of happiness after finding our mate. The doors were thrown open and three guards entered the room with the four council members behind them and behind the council member were none other than our mother.
