---- Shivering , I turned around in his arms and frowned up at him. My body was still aching from my lack of orgasms . The last thing I needed was for Mason to kiss my mark. Just a brush of his lips might make me explode. He smiled as he pulled back. "Miss you." I melted against his body. "Have you found anything yet?" The smile slipped from his face. I didn't like the fact that he instantly avoided eye contact. "you did find something," I muttered. Mason swallowed.

"I did, but let's not talk about this tonight." I wanted to push him for answers. I needed to know if Nalan and I were somehow related. Maybe we were or maybe it was just one of those cases where people looked the same. "you look worried, don't be." I sucked in a breath and slowly blew it out. A couple passed us, the woman glancing at us in curiosity. Mason was right, this wasn't the time or place to talk ---- about something as important as this.

"You haven't eaten yet," Mason said as he slipped an arm around my waist to pull me against his side. "I want you to try something. Our cook is good, but this woman makes the best spring rolls." My eyes darted around as he led me through the crowd. The music had died down and a glance at the stage let me know that the musicians were just taking a small break. I sucked in a deep breath and smiled as the smell of food got closer.

My stomach grumbled loudly, reminding me that I hadn't eaten much at breakfast. "Hello, your Highness ," a woman greeted at one of the stalls we stopped us. "How can I help you?" "We would like a dozen of your amazing spring rolls." The woman blushed a bright shade of red. She stuttered a reply as she started placing the rolls into a brown paper bag. I took note of her shaky hand and the nervousness she failed to hide. Were they always this nervous around my mates?

It was kind of funny but understandable. They were royalty after all. I was royalty. ---- I didn't think it had set in yet. And in a few days, I was going to be crowned Queen.
