---- 37. NATE "You know where they are?" I nodded, not willing to say it out loud until we knew for sure who was being her kidnapping. Lucas hadn't said much, but I had my suspicions. "Let me go with you," Mason begged. "JT need you to put the saddle on me," I told him. "T don't trust anyone else to make sure that it's secured." Mason frowned and for a moment it looked like he wanted to say more but then he nodded.
"TI'll go get it." I watched him leave before I focused on what needed to be done. There was a blizzard approaching. We needed to get them back to the castle before it hit because Angel wasn't going to be able to survive a night out there without the proper clothing. And she didn't have any proper clothes. The bastards didn't even bother letting her get dressed. Not that it actually mattered since they were planning on killing her.

A growl fell from my lips as I stuffed clothes into a ---- leather bag. I tied the boots to the straps of the bags and then straightened , eyes darting around as I tried to think of what else I needed to pack for her. I added a blanket just in case and then closed the bag and swung it up over my shoulder. With one last glance around the room, I hurried out of the room to our private courtyard. Angel would be safe in it and it would be much easier than carrying her when flying. Once all the straps were tightened, I stood and ---- stretched my wings to make sure that I would still be able to fly. The weight of the saddle felt awkward on my back, but I pushed it aside and took two steps forward. Mason held out the bag. I took it with a clawed hand and nodded at him as I took off. Every dragon , or most of the older generations , had their own den hidden in the mountains.
It was where we stayed before the castles and buildings were built in our new realm. Before heading to the mountains, I circled the castle, making sure that I wasn't being followed. When I was certain that the coast was clear, I headed in the direction of Lucas's den. Snow fell, but there was no wind. Not yet anyway. The blizzard was expected to hit by noon. I flapped my wings faster.
My eyes searched the snow-covered mountain for familiar landmarks that would indicate that I was close to Lucas's den, but all I found were snow- covered rocks. *The snow is making it difficult for me to see where the entrance to your den is,* I told Lucas through our
